What data we collect and why
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location at city level, device and browser type). Affiliate links and cookies
This site earns commissions through affiliate programs (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When you click an affiliate link, the destination website or its affiliate network (for example Impact.com, PartnerStack, or the merchant’s own program) may set cookies in your browser to attribute a purchase to this site. These cookies are set and controlled by those third parties under their own privacy policies. We do not receive personal information about you from these networks; we see only anonymous statistics such as the number of clicks and commissions earned.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our email list, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. This data is stored with our email service provider, MailerLite, and used only to send you the content you signed up for. Contact form
If you contact us through the site, we keep the message and the details you provide (such as your name and email address) for as long as needed to respond and follow up. We do not use contact form details for marketing or share them with anyone.
Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience; these cookies last one year. Approved comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized automatically.

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings. Comments are retained as described above. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.

You can request an exported copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to erase it, by contacting us through the Contact page. This does not include data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
